All the performance of the standard Marathon Racer tyre with the addition of a foldable lighter weight Kevlar bead. This is perfect for cycle tours when taking a spare full size tyre can be a problem.

Probably the best option if you will be using the bike on a variety of surfaces. Kevlar construction minimises the risk of punctures, and a solid tread pattern gives good traction on loose surfaces such cycle tracks and towpaths. As an added safety feature, a reflective sidewall increases your visibility around town

This tyre features an extra thick rolling tread to keep punctures to an absolute minimum, you can push a drawing pin into the center of the tread on these tyres and it doesn't reach the inside!
All this extra material does mean that the tyre is a little heavier than the standard Marathon tyres, but if puncture resistance takes more priority than light weight handling then this tyre does make a very good option.
