The Tournado is the ride all day on all roads travel bike.
You can take any bike on a plane or coach if you have a bag big enough, but it won't be as effortless as traveling with the Dahon Tournado. At the heart of this bike is the Tom Ritchey designed frame built from Tange Prestige cro-moly tubing providing a perfect combination of all day comfort and strength with light weight performance.
This overall geometry of the bike is more of a traditional upright position then that of many modern stretched compact road bikes which reduces fatigue and is puts less stress on the body for long distance easy riding.
Facility for conventional mudguards and racks are offered, including a front low rider mount on the fork for those extended tours, and with tyre clearances for anything up to 35c tyre's there are plenty of options available.
It takes about 15 minutes to pack the bike down into the Air Porter travel case, and the same to reassemble it at the other end once familiar with the bike. A full size bike in a folding bike size box, what could be more perfect.
