Dahon Speed TR 2007
The Speed TR is a folding performance touring bike; fast, comfortable and able to soak up the miles while maintaining that folding potential so that you can integrate your journey with other forms of transport.
The Speed TR features racks front and rear for load carrying capacity, and a Joule front dynamo hub to keep you riding into the night when required showing that this is a bike designed to be used to it's full touring potential.
Sram’s Dual Drive gears provide the transmission, which is a clever combination of a derailleur gear and a 3 speed hub providing the same 24 speed range as you would experience on a full size bike, a massive range from 21' through to 114'.
Avid V brake levers with powerful Kinetix V-brakes take care of the stopping, while light (yet strong) Kinetix wheels wrapped with Schwalbe Big Apple tyre's keep you rolling along trouble free. Other components on the bike are all of a similarly high quality, two components worthy of note would be the excellent Ergon grips with integrated magnesium bar ends, and the very clever Bio Logic Post Pump, a cycle pump that is actually integrated into the seat post so you will never be caught short again.
This bike is a true multi purpose folding bicycle, whether its a trip to the local shops or a holiday in the alps, with the Speed TR to hand you can be sure you will get there with ease and style.
