The speed P8 is the perfect balance of value and performance, perfect for long commutes, fast weekend rides or even touring. The Speed P8 shares the same frame as the Speed Pro offering a stiff yet comfortable compliant ride with a focus on pedal power going effeciently to the wheels. Quality componentry is used through out the bike with a number of Dahon's own inovations such as the height adjustable stem, integral tyre pump, ergonomic grips and saddle all working in perfect harmony with the components from well known manufacturers that complete the bike.
Sram provide the transmission in the form of their SX7 derailleur with easy to use grip shifter, Truvativ cranks are a quality lightweight option and look superb, while Kinetix v-brakes with Avid levers take care of the braking. Dahons own Kinetix Comp wheelset is light and strong, with Schwalbe Big Apple tyres for smooth rolling puncture resistant performance all year round.
