Dahon Mu XL 2007

The Mu XL is built for no nonesense practicality. It's all here, mud guards, rear rack, lights with front hub dynamo, puncture resistant tyre's and a chain guard all mounted onto the fantastic Dahon Mu series light weight aluminium frame. Comfort features include the plush suspension seat pin, Biologic ergonomic saddle and grips, as well as a telescopic adjustable stem to position the bars just right.
Gearing is taken care of with the Shimano Nexus 8 speed hub gear system which does away with untidy derailleurs and exposed components to minimise service requirements and increase reliability. Brakes are courtesy of Kinetix in the form of powerful mtb style v-brakes front and rear.
In a nutshell this bike is practical. If ultra lightweight is not your greatest priority and you put a greater importance on having a bike which is fitted with those choice extra that allow it to be used effectively every day all year round then the Mu XL may well be he bike that you've been looking for.
