The Dahon Matrix is a hard hitting folding MTB built for the street. The light weight 7005 double butted aluminium frame is designed by Joe Murray the legendary mountain bike racer turned bike designer with performance and dependability in mind. The bike comes with fast rolling Continental slick tyre's for on road performance fitted as standard, but with a change to knobbly tyre's the Matrix would be equally at home off road.
Sram and FSA provide a quality dependable transmission with their X7 24 speed derailleur gears and cranks respectively, Shimano take care of the brake with a fine set of cable operated discs combined with Avid levers, and a Suntour NEX suspension fork provides the medium to take the big hits on or off road. A variety of finishing kit is used through out the bike, all alloy and all maintaining the high overall spec of this bike, which includes the very clever 'BioLogic Post Pump'; a pump that is incorporated into the seat post so you'll never be caught short again!
Folding is simple via the single latch that allows the frame to literally be folded in half, along with the 'NVO' stem system that allows the bars to be removed and realigned in seconds with no more then a single allen key bolt.
