Ultra light weight simplicity for the purist.
Based on the 2 speed free hub, the normal ratio is 74.3", but as with all Brompton's transmission options there are lower gears available.

The special 2 speed free hub designed by Brompton is extremely light, but with no cost to strength or reliability. The combination of 12 and 16 tooth sprockets give two very practical ratios, one for starting off and hills and another for cruising. Perfect for getting around town if there's not to many hills, and light weight is your priority.

The Sturmey Archer 3 speed hub now uses an alloy shell meaning it's lighter than its predecessors. The Brompton Bicycles designed 3 speed lever is easy to use, and as always gearing options are available. 2 lowered options to make it easier, and now a higher gearing option for stronger riders and speed freaks!

As above but fitted with Brompton's self designed deraillieur system to allow you to shift between two sprockets on the back so doubling up the 3 speeds in your hub. Great for those wanting more range.
