Constructed from tubular aluminium, the Airframe is light weight bicycle that will fold down into a more upright form similar in shape and size to that of a collapsible child’s push chair.
An 8 speed Shimano Nexus hub gear offers reliable performance in combination with twist grip shifter for ease of use. An all aluminium tubular construction produces a light weight bike (10.5 kilos) and also provides a good resistance to atmospheric corrosion, always a consideration to those using folding bicycles on boats, particularly when at sea.
Although perhaps not as well suited to the daily commuter due to the larger size in its folded state compared to some of its rivals, the design of the Airframe is a true departure from the status quo, so will appeal to bicycle collectors and those wanting something a little bit different.
